Hi, I'm Jorien Hartman – great to have you here!

I live with my boyfriend, a dachshund, and two cats in our lovely house in Otterlo, in the heart of the Veluwe region. I've loved Christmas and interior design for as long as I can remember. Where I used to drive around in my convertible, I now travel the country in my van, searching for the most beautiful interior finds. My favorite pastime? "Going on a treasure hunt"—and I often come home with unique items that truly make my heart leap for joy.

Interior styling is my passion. In June 2020, I started sharing my interior photos on Instagram. Since then, three extensive photoshoots have been done of our home, and two of them were published in well-known interior design magazines in 2022. More than 7,000 followers are inspired daily by my photos and ideas.

With that same passion for ambiance and experience, I launched this online store. My dream is to eventually turn it into a truly cozy little shop. In the webshop, you'll find carefully selected items that each contribute to a warm, personal, and inviting home.

Mission

My Sober Home was born from my love for a simple, rugged, and lived-in interior. I believe that it's precisely the worn, imperfect pieces that give a home character and warmth. In the shop, you'll find my most beautiful finds: each one carefully selected and curated.

I'm constantly on a treasure hunt for unique items that have stood the test of time and become even more beautiful. These are precisely the objects that make your interior original, personal, and timeless.

Most sturdy, understated home accessories can be shipped. For very large or heavy items, we'll discuss the best option: shipping upon request or a convenient pickup.
