Beautiful old wooden grain divider. This was used to divide grain. The grain went into the round top and was then divided into 2, 3, or sometimes even 4 courses. It's wonderful to have items like this with a story, a real utensil that has already lived a lifetime. Every grain divider is different and therefore unique. One has beautiful carvings, while another has an extra metal lid. It's lovely in itself and very decorative, but you can also nicely place a lantern or candle inside.
