- Large gray mortar (w 26, h 48, opening diameter 12 cm)

These old wooden mortars are beautiful, and their weathered, grayed wood lends them such a lovely color. They're made of solid wood. They're very decorative and a lovely smaller model for the table, for example. But they look great anywhere, of course. At Christmas, display a cute little nobilis tree or a pretty lantern with a green cover; it contrasts beautifully with the old wood. It's special to know that these mortars were actually used. As far as I'm concerned, it only makes them even more beautiful.
